Job Description
Position Purpose: Production support for resolving quality issues and inspection of product in the production areas and modular cells.Summary of Primary Duties:Assist Quality Engineer(s) in evaluating and establishing quality systems to include continual improvements. Support Manufacturing Engineering in equipment validation/qualifications.
The incumbent is responsible for a variety of straightforward, routine duties in the assigned department or work area related to the manufacture and assembly of product. The incumbent participates in the company?s quality initiatives including, but not limited to: TS/ISO certification and maintenance of quality systems in place. The incumbent participates in the company?s safety programs by ensuring a safe and clean working environment, timely reporting of any safety violations, timely reporting of any workplace incidents or injuries, and effective housekeeping.
Principal Responsibilities and Duties:
+ Perform capability analysis
+ Evaluate line performance
+ Perform tear down analysis
+ Provide customer assistance
+ Provide specific quality training as required
+ Participate in and/or lead corrective action to closure
+ Solve problems by obtaining data and performing analysis to identify and evaluate a range of alternatives
+ Layered process audits weekly
+ Perform quality checks, setup checks, print reading, control plan review, BOM review for accuracy
+ Sister plant interaction
+ 8D team participation
+ Other duties as assigned -- monitor the hold cage, perform special studies as required, perform dock audits after GP12.
Required Skills
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience Required:
+ Post - High school education or equivalent required (if outside hire).
+ Able to read, write, and comprehend the English language
+ Able to perform basic mathematical functions including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
+ In-dept knowledge of manufacturing processes to include components
+ In-depth knowledge of capability studies and SPC techniques
+ Strong interpersonal communication skills
+ Good understanding of control forces and understanding of factors that effect damping forces.
+ In-depth knowledge of shock absorbers/strut mechanics and disposition.
+ Able to determine process impact on part quality in a timely manner and take the appropriate action to protect outgoing product
+ Post high school (technical) knowledge/experience preferred
+ Ability to use computer/keyboard for documentation and Quality Programs
+ Ability to interface with customers
+ Compliance to product audits
+ Ability to read and interpret blueprints
+ Knowledge of TS16949
NOTE: Evaluation of knowledge, skill and ability will be given
Physical Requirements:Standard levels of concentration; must react to rapid changes; must concentrate on instruments, control panels, etc; combination of sedentary work, standing, and walking; exposure to noise, temperature extremes, humidity.
Safety Requirements:The incumbent is required to wear the following PPE in designated areas: 1. Safety shoes; 2. Eye protection; 3. Hand protection; 4. Hearing protection

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
