Manufacturing Engineer (Engineer II)

POSITION OVERVIEW We are seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to assist in developing, maintaining and optimizing new and existing assembly processes to meet product quality objectives in a safe and efficient manner. This role requires any process documentation (PFMEAs, work instructions, process flow, operational quality checks, and electro-mechanical drawings) are created and managed. They will be recognized for their technical knowledge to support, supervise and assist operational and technical staff in their duties. This position will report to the Manager of Manufacturing Engineering.   COMPANY OVERVIEW Our client is a global manufacturer of fuel storage, delivery systems and components for light vehicles with locations worldwide. REQUIREMENTS Bachelor's degree in engineering or engineering technology 10+ years of experience in production or manufacturing processes Proven track record of improved OEE and equipment reliability Possesses strong written and oral communication, and technical presentation skills Ability to create, review, and modify CAD drawings Knowledge to assist technical staff through the ability to troubleshoot with PLC's, electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic drawings Ability to occasionally lift and / or carries up to 50 pounds and maneuvers in, around and under factory and/or laboratory equipment on a regular and continuous basis Experience within an automotive component manufacturing office and laboratory setting preferred Exposure to heat, cold and fumes/chemicals experiencepreferred Moderate travel is required RESPONSIBILITIES Work independently to gather data from appropriate groups, in order to develop original process/equipment designs, or create modifications to existing process/equipment after having been given general information on the product(s) to be assembled Prepare and present preliminary process layouts, estimated labor requirements, and equipment cost in order to obtain confirmation of concept design Develop manufacturing methods, labor utilization standards, and cost analysis systems to promote efficient staff and facility utilization. Plan and establish sequence of operations to assemble parts or products and to promote efficient utilization Participate in meetings with suppliers, customers, and various internal departments to obtain input on, agreement with, and understanding of project objectives and schedules Supervise non-exempt clerical or technical staff with projects or assignments Coordinate and direct activities within department to support plant goals, including labor efficiency, scrap, overtime, on-time delivery, zero defects to customer, down-time issues, and compliance of TS16949 Participate in the initial studies, cost estimates, and schedules, for proposed projects and provide suggestions to improve safety, quality, and efficiency for these projects Propose product design modifications which will make the product more easily manufactured, improve the products cost, or improve quality of the product Recommend and implement methods for improving utilization of personnel, material, and utilities. Prepare and maintain process/equipment standards and specifications Assist technical staff on shop floor as required Ensure adequate and continuous control procedures are exercised over all activities affecting quality Review scrap data, safety audits, downtime information, and quality concerns to determine and complete necessary process/equipment modifications Maintain the professional competence, knowledge and skill necessary for the satisfactory performance of all assigned responsibilities COMPENSATION & LOCATION This position will be based out of Hartwell, GA area. This is a full-time position that is available for immediate hire. A meaningful compensation package will be developed for the successful candidate that will include a base salary, performance bonus and comprehensive benefits.
Salary Range: $88K - $99K

11 - 15 years

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
